Megan Reardon

Information: My name is Megan Marie Reardon. I am an only child of dual military parents. They both served twenty years in the Army and are working their second careers. I was born in Wuerzburg, Germany and moved to Columbia, SC when I was eighteen months old. I am a junior, enrolled in two magnet programs: Bio-Health and Scholars. I served on the RVHS student council for the past two years and am serving as the junior president this year. I am a member of RVHS’s varsity cross country team for the fifth year. In my free time, I enjoy volunteering in the community. I have been a member of the Fort Jackson Red Cross VolunTeens for five years and will serve as the VolunTeen President this year. I have also volunteered with the Richland County Public Library for the past seven years. I am a very committed, social, and vivacious student. I enjoy being part of organizations that make a difference.

Information: My name is Chris Kane, and I'm proud to be serving as the Junior Class Vice President this year! I'm excited to learn and grow as a person with my fellow officers. I'm also looking forward to a great year with Student Council and the Student Body of Ridge View! I was born in Columbia, and I have lived here my entire life. I have two younger brothers, who I care for immensely. I have been a part of Ridge View's Cross Country team since I was a freshman. Last year, I, along with 6 other varsity cross country runners, received the Varsity Letter Award. Running is a growing passion of mine, and it, along with student council, is a very big part of my life. I am also in the Scholar's Academy magnet program, and I have been since freshman year. In general, I am an extremely organized person. I believe that in order for my education career to be successful, I need to be organized with all of my studies. In addition to all of these aspects of myself, I also really enjoy working with and helping other people! I have a passion for helping others in any way that I can, and I'll always seek opportunities for me to help someone in need. Again, I'm looking forward to a great school year!

Information: My name is Victoria Rickards. I was born in Miami, Florida on March 6. I am very culturally diverse so I can relate to a lot of different people. I am also very passionate about the arts. Since I just moved from Miami, I am really shy but once you get to know me you'll see my true personality. I love making new friends, especially since I'm still trying to get the hang of South Carolina as a whole but I am enjoying it so far!

I may seem shy at first but I am really a fun loving person who just likes to make people feel good about who they are.
